We stand behind every Altara product. If something is not right, we make it right — simply and without complication.

Altara operates a straightforward, no-pressure returns policy. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange at no cost to you.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following conditions:

Non-Returnable Items

Items that show signs of use, soiling, damage caused by the customer, or that are returned beyond the 30-day window are ineligible for a refund or exchange. Altara reserves the right to decline a return that does not meet these conditions.

Initiate Your Return

Contact our support team via the Contact page within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a brief description of the reason for return. We will respond within 1-2 business days.

Receive Your Return Label

Once your return is approved, we will send a prepaid return shipping label to your email address. No cost is incurred on your part for return postage on eligible items.

Package & Post

Securely package your item and affix the prepaid label. Drop the parcel at your nearest Australia Post outlet. Retain your tracking receipt as proof of lodgement.

Inspection & Resolution

Upon receipt, we inspect the returned item within 2 business days. If approved, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 3-5 business days. Exchange orders are dispatched immediately upon approval.

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, we will resolve the issue immediately at no cost — regardless of the 30-day window.

Manufacturing Defects

All Altara products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If your seat cover develops a defect under normal use within this period, we will repair or replace it at no cost. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear.

Damaged in Transit

In the event your order arrives damaged, please photograph the item and packaging immediately upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or full refund as a priority.
